A+A comprises performative projects developed as ongoing processes throughout the year in the Serra de Rodes, focusing on research into this environment from a plural perspective—anthropological, archaeological and/or biocultural.
The artists’ incursions into the site are guided by a desire to establish a holistic relationship between human presence and place. The outcomes of these performative processes take shape through different media: on the one hand, as ephemeral works presented as interventions in the centre’s exhibition spaces and, on the other, as short films or video art pieces screened at ARBAR and/or presented in other artistic contexts.
